Designed around a generous rectangular table with softly rounded edges, the Romano carries a marble top that reads differently in every light. The veining shifts. The surface catches the afternoon sun and holds candlelight differently at dinner. It is the kind of top that never looks quite the same twice, which is exactly what makes it worth looking at every day.

The table base is built from solid teakwood — dark-finished, structural, and sculpted into a trestle form that feels architectural without being heavy. Twin support columns rise from a central crossbeam, splaying gently outward to meet the tabletop. The geometry is precise. The craftsmanship is evident in every joint and angle.

The Chairs

The Romano chairs are designed with the same care as the table. Each chair sits on a four-leg teakwood frame — dark-finished to match — with the rear legs angling slightly back for balance and visual ease. The seat and backrest are fully upholstered in a textured fabric: a salt-and-pepper weave that reads as sophisticated grey without being cold. The back wraps gently around the sitter, giving each chair a sense of envelopment without bulk. These are chairs you actually want to sit in through a long meal.

Marble Top — What You Should Know

The Romano is available with an artificial marble top or an onyx marble top, depending on the finish you choose. Natural stone veining means no two tops are identical — the images shown are representative of the marble family, not a guaranteed pattern. Available marble shades are subject to stock at the time of order, and our team will guide you through current options before production begins.

For those who prefer a non-stone surface, the Romano can also be configured with a wooden top — same base, same chairs, a warmer table surface.

The Romano is made to order at our Hyderabad workshop, which means you are not choosing from a fixed catalogue — you are specifying a piece of furniture built for your home.
