SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

1. Overview
At Woodkraft Studio, every piece of furniture is handcrafted and made to order in Hyderabad. Because your furniture is built specifically for you, our delivery process is managed with extra care to ensure it reaches you safely and in perfect condition.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how we handle delivery timelines, charges, installation, and any situations that may affect your order.
2. Delivery Area
We currently deliver exclusively within Hyderabad, Telangana. We do not offer delivery outside Hyderabad at this time.
Our delivery network covers all major areas of Hyderabad including, but not limited to:
- Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar
- Gachibowli, Kondapur, Madhapur, Hitech City
- Kukatpally, Mehdipatnam, Kompally
- And all surrounding localities within Hyderabad city limits

3. Delivery Timeline
Our standard delivery timeline is 30 days from the date of order confirmation and receipt of advance payment. This accounts for the time required to source materials, handcraft your furniture, and arrange delivery.
Please note:
- The 30-day timeline is an estimate and begins only after order confirmation and advance payment are received.
- Timelines may vary based on the complexity of your customisation, material availability, and current production schedules.
- We will keep you informed of your order status and communicate your estimated delivery date once production is underway.
4. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are not fixed and vary depending on:
- Your delivery location within Hyderabad (distance from our production facility)
- The size, weight, and volume of the items in your order
- The number of items being delivered
The applicable delivery charge will be communicated to you at the time of order confirmation, before you make any payment. We aim to keep delivery costs fair and reasonable.
In some cases, delivery may be complimentary — this will be confirmed by our team at the time of order.
5. Delivery Process
5.1 Scheduling
Once your furniture is ready, our team will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery date and time. We request that you or a responsible adult be present at the delivery address to receive the order.
5.2 Access Requirements
Please ensure that the delivery location is accessible for large furniture items. This includes:
- Clear pathways, staircases, or lift access of adequate dimensions
- Sufficient space in the room where the furniture will be placed
If delivery requires additional labour due to access difficulties (e.g., narrow staircases, upper floors without lift access), supplementary charges may apply. Our team will inform you in advance if this is likely.
5.3 Inspection at Delivery
You must inspect your furniture thoroughly at the time of delivery — before our delivery team departs. Please check for:
- Any visible damage or scratches
- Manufacturing defects or incorrect items
- Completeness of the order (all components and accessories)
Any defects or issues must be reported immediately before the delivery team leaves. Issues raised after the team has departed will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may not qualify for immediate resolution. Please refer to our Terms of Service for the full Warranty & Defects policy.
6. Installation & Assembly
Woodkraft Studio offers professional installation and assembly of your furniture at your home as an optional add-on service.
- Installation is available at an additional charge, which will be quoted to you at the time of order confirmation or delivery scheduling.
- Our trained team will assemble and position your furniture in the room of your choice.
- Please ensure the room is cleared and ready before the installation team arrives to avoid delays.
If you choose not to opt for installation, basic delivery (placement at ground floor or accessible area) will be carried out by the delivery team.
7. Delivery Delays
While we make every effort to deliver within the committed timeline, delays may occasionally occur due to:
- Production delays caused by material sourcing or high order volumes
- Unforeseen circumstances such as weather events, public holidays, or logistics disruptions
- Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control
In the event of a delay, we will proactively communicate with you, explain the reason, and provide a revised delivery date. We do not automatically cancel or refund orders due to delays — instead, we work with you to find a mutually convenient rescheduled date.
If you have concerns about a delay, please reach out to us directly via WhatsApp and we will provide an update promptly.
8. Failed or Missed Delivery
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because no one is present at the delivery address, or the address provided is incorrect or inaccessible, our team will contact you to reschedule. Please note:
- Rescheduling due to a missed delivery on your end may incur an additional delivery charge.
- If we are unable to reach you after multiple attempts, the order may be held at our facility. Storage beyond a reasonable period may attract holding charges.
