The frame is the first thing you notice. Pale, natural teakwood rises at the arms and corners in clean vertical posts, connected by a low horizontal rail that grounds the whole piece. There is no attempt to conceal the structure — it is the structure that gives the Loom its character. Crafted from solid teakwood at Woodkraft Studio's workshop in Hyderabad, the frame is built to carry decades without complaint.

Sitting inside that frame is a set of cushions that reward the eye before they reward the body. The seat cushions are channel-tufted in a generous grid — wide, deep columns of stitching that give each section a softly padded, almost architectural quality. The back follows the same logic: a row of plump, stitched cushions that lean against a taller quilted backrest panel, so you are held rather than just supported. Two loose back cushions sit at the front of the back panel, inviting you to pull them forward or stack them as the mood takes you.

The upholstery is fully customisable — choose from Woodkraft Studio's fabric range to suit your interior, whether that is the warm off-white shown here or something richer and more grounded. The teakwood finish can similarly be adjusted to complement your space.
