If Blooming Walls has a single defining quality, it is scale. This is a large botanical pattern — not the tight, all-over scatter of a smaller repeat, but a sweeping, wall-filling composition of fan palms, ferns, banana leaves, and tall grass fronds that rises from floor level and fills the wall the way an actual garden would. Each leaf form is drawn with genuine botanical detail, rendered in a painterly style that combines fine line work with textured shading, giving the design a quality closer to illustration than print.

The deep emerald green (39654-3) is the most dramatic — the same lush forms now barely distinguishable from a rich, almost-black green ground, creating a wall of extraordinary depth and atmosphere. It suits dining rooms, studies, and bedrooms built around a dark, jewel-toned aesthetic. The soft lavender and blush (39654-4) takes the design in an entirely different direction — pale, feminine, and quietly romantic, with the botanical forms floating on a dusty lilac ground in near-white.
