The Mateo is a fully upholstered barrel-back accent chair built on an exposed solid teakwood X-frame. The defining feature is the wraparound channel-stitched backrest — deeply curved, generously padded, and fully upholstered — that cocoons you without closing you in. The seat is wide and foam-cushioned, supported by a sculptural dark teakwood frame with signature brass bolt joinery at the arm junction.

Handcrafted at our workshop in Hyderabad from a combination of solid teakwood, high-density plywood, quality foam, and your choice of upholstery fabric. The Mateo works as a living room accent chair, a reading chair, a bedroom occasional chair, or a standalone statement piece.
